“ If I could eat here everyday I would! Let me tell you how much I hate eating Caribbean food in Dallas!! Its always some fusion effort with mid flavor to appease the masses and dishonor their ancestors for a broader pallet. This place did the opposite. Sticking to his Jamaican roots the flavors do not miss!! So far I have had the Curry Chicken Curry Goat Jerk Chicken Oxtails Rice Peas Plantains Cabbage And I loved them all. There was spice, there was heat, there was just the right combinations of flavors and the meat fell off the bone! The owner is a lovely man who Id like to marry so I can always eat like this! Do yourself a favor and order up!! ”
“ Insanely good, SUCH A GOOD PRICE, the guy who sold it was really nice and friendly. If you miss out on this, I really am so sorry. So good, I hope they stay open forever ”
“ For a quick pull up and carry out this was FIRE!! Cant wait until the outside concertlive music area is complete! Super nice staff and the food Oxtails Jerk Chicken was yummy. Deep portion containers so dont be fooled by the size. ”
“ Jamaica Cabana was an absolute sensation today! The Jamaican oxtails were nothing short of incredibleso tender and bursting with flavor. The spices truly enhanced the meats richness. When paired with rice and peas alongside sauteed cabbage, it created a flawless harmony of tastes. The curry sauces spice blend elevated the chicken to a whole new level of deliciousness. It certainly satisfied every craving! ”

“ We stayed in Dallas last weekend for the Red River Shootout. While searching my Google maps, I found the Jamaican Cabana. OMG!!!! The Oxtail dinner was . My family loved this Jerk Chicken! We couldnt eat it all. Their outdoor seating was absolutely perfect for weather and attracting new customers! It worked out well because some individuals asked what we were eating and ordered the same entrees and raved about it!!!!! We will definitely be back there again! We encourage everyone to go and support this business ! ”
“ The lady that took our order was such a vibe first and foremost! Absolutely loved her personality and she greeted us with a smile we ordered the oxtails and they were literally falling off the bone, so good tender! The rice peas was perfect texture! But lets get into those beef patties ... they were THE BESTTTT I ever had! They were so good that we tried to go back for more later the same evening but they had closed early definitely will be back to try other menu items ”
“ Dont believe the negative reviews. I came in right before a storm and the customer service was nice. The owner told me he was a former banker turned restaurant owner and he cooks everyday because he wants it done right. The food was spectacular. I got a lot of food for 27. Large Curry Chicken w a side of mac cheese. The plate came w rice peas, cabbage plantains for 20. The taste of the Curry was yummy. Perfectly Seasoned with a little spice. Cabbage, Rice and Peas Plantain were tasty as well. Mac Cheese was not my preference. Because of the bad weather he was going to close down to get home to McKinney before it got too bad so he blessed me with a veggie pie. The restroom wasnt inside, it was a small room connected to the establishment and it was clean. No pic due to rain I enjoyed my dinner and will have leftovers tomorrow Fyi, the men before me drove all the way from Forney, Tx again for the food. That says something!!! ”
